What is the most popular chicken salad flavor?
Classic Carol, the original recipe. It is shredded chicken with finely minced celery, mayonnaise and the house seasoning. Fancy Nancy, with apples, grapes and pecans, is the most popular dressed up flavor.
How many calories are in a scoop of chicken salad?
It depends on the flavor. Across the menu the lightest scoop is Maui Mama at 280 calories and the heaviest is Cranberry Kelli at 450 calories. Every card on this page lists the calories for that dish.
What is a Quick Chick?
A Quick Chick is a sealed container of any scoop, sold to take home. The Small size serves two to three people for $6.99 and the Large serves four to five. It is the same chicken salad, packed for the fridge.
Does Chicken Salad Chick have gluten free options?
The chicken salad scoops themselves are gluten free, and so are the pimento cheese and egg salad. They can be served on a green salad or with lettuce instead of bread and crackers. Ask at the counter and the kitchen will build it that way.
Does Chicken Salad Chick cater?
Yes. The catering menu covers sandwich luncheons, trays, boxed lunches and gallons of tea for offices and events. Catering prices are quoted by each restaurant when you order, so they are not listed on this page.
What comes with a scoop meal?
A scoop of any chicken salad, pimento cheese or egg salad served with crackers, your choice of one or two sides, a pickle spear and a cookie. It is the standard plate in the restaurant.
Are there vegetarian choices on the menu?
Yes. The pimento cheese and egg salad scoops contain no chicken, and many sides are vegetarian, including the broccoli salad, grape salad, pasta salad and fresh fruit. The fresh salads can also be topped with pimento cheese or egg salad.
Do the flavors change?
The twelve core flavors stay all year. Seasonal and limited time flavors rotate in and out, like the pumpkin and holiday rotations, so the case is worth checking when you visit.
Can I buy a gallon of tea?
Yes. Sweet tea and unsweet tea are sold by the gallon through catering, and bottled and fountain drinks are on the regular menu. The catering page lists the gallon options.
